Adorable little cuttlefish pet in a jar (despite the name the Striped Pyjama Squid is actually a cuttlefish). Perma-Pets are unique sculpted polymer clay sea creatures. This cuttlefish is suspended in clear acrylic resin that mimics the look of water inside a cute little jar. The sculpted polymer clay lid has been painted with swirls of mica powder and black paint to mimic the look of paua shell.

Unlike most Perma-Pets this one is actually life sized, the Striped Pyjama Squid only grows to a maximum of 2 inches long. This cuttlefish species lives in the waters of the southern Indo-Pacific and like the Flamboyant Cuttlefish and a handful of other cephalopod species the Pyjama Squid is poisonous.

Usually between $60-$75 depending on complexity of the creature.

I wish I could make them more affordable but they take a lot of time and the resin is pretty pricey.

I totally understand. I'm in the BJD hobby, so I know a bit about resin and its cost. >w>
