Here are all the Perma-pets I have finished so far (minus the very first octopuppy. There are 3 cuddlefish, a nudibranch and an octopuppy. A purple nudribranch and one more octopuppy are awaiting their resin because I ran out.

According to Xelados on #pixelation the cuddlefish look like baby Cthulu (Cthulus? I'm not sure what the plural of that would be). Now I'm a big H.P. Lovecraft fan but I think they're too cute to be Cthulu.

hey, is the resin very pricey? this is a great idea for a gift, though I have something slightly darker in mind =)

How expensive sort of depends on how big and how many you're doing. It's about $6.50 for an 8oz kit, enough for the average sized jelly jar (or fruit jars like mine). So if you're doing one or two it's not expensive, if you get into making multiples like I have then it starts getting expensive (which is why I sell them for $50 and the gallery I'm in sells them for $90).

I have some photos of the critters from before I stuck them in the jar on my website [link] but I already delivered these to the gallery so unless I go take pictures of them there these are all I have.
